Why People Lose Money
in Home Based Business Scams?Have
you ever wondered wondered about home based business scams or whether
you are missing out? There are thousands of ads in the Internet
promising the world:Become
a Millionaire by working 10 minutes per day! Make $100,000 in a week!!
Get rich today!!! All Home Based Business Scams?
I have to admit: I used to read them all, get really excited,
go through the sign-up process and marvel at all the free bonuses. But
then I remembered what was really valuable to me and reassessed the
offer more level headed.
While researching, I realised a few things. Here are three
most important ones:
- It never happens in a day. It took all of the
‘Gurus’ years of making mistakes and learning their
unique skills.
- Every single one of the successful
people treated their work as a serious business and spent many hours
working on it. Usually more than 40 hours a week, easily up to 80.
- They
did start one day with no experience and no past successes.
When they sell the message ‘It is all so
easy’, I often wonder:
- Have they forgotten all the effort
they put in?
- Do they just want to encourage
others to try and give it a go?
- Are they
deliberately misleading people to earn money themselves? or
- Do
they seriously believe that it can be done that simply, now that they
have written down “their formula” of
success?
It might be a
mixture of all of that. And maybe it is just human nature that we
forget the toil when we enjoy the spoil. I am sure that most do not
want to produce home based business scams, even though that is how it
can easily be perceived. My big
goal was to
produce events. During my time at
University, I was involved in organizing a few events and really got
hooked with the excitement and thrill of planning and then seeing it
all come together. My first job offer was from a huge exhibition
company. But on my way from the job interview I walked through the
exhibition halls and felt so uninspired. And I knew: This is not my
world; I want to produce artistic events.
Instead I took on a work experience with a small company.
After 6 months, they offered me to stay. I declined and started out on
my own. This was the start of my home business. For about 2 years, I
earned enough to pay the bills – just.
Then it started to take off and after 6 years I headed the
production of a BMW world tour promoting hydrogen vehicles with a team
of subcontractors.
So what is my point?
- You can reach your goal, but not in a day. It needs
a lot of patience and persistence.
- Mistakes are
part of the journey. They teach us wisdom, far more valuable than
anything learned from books.
- A first step is
necessary to make a start. For that it is not necessary to have an
exact plan of how to get to where you want to be. But with a mental
picture or vision
of what it is like where you want to be, your
feelings will tell you along the way whether you are on track. It is
good to trust in them.
So when you see the next ad for earning a heap of money, check
whether the service or product truly excites you.
If it is only the money, it will probably turn into one of
many home based business scams
for you. If it is the product or service, then use the knowledge of
someone who has walked the journey. It certainly speeds things up -
even though you have to do your own walking.
