Home Based Business Scams

Why Do People Lose Money in Scams?

HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED ABOUT HOME BASED BUSINESS SCAMS?

DO YOU THINK TO YOURSELF -
"ARE THEY REALLY SCAMS, OR AM I ACTUALLY MISSING OUT?"

HOW CAN YOU TELL?

There are thousands (probably millions) of ads on the Internet every day that are promising the world. You know the ones...

  • Become a Millionaire by working 10 minutes per day!
  • Make $100,000 in a week!!
  • Get rich today!!!
  • No investment required.
  • Make $1,000,000 from your own home!

Are They All Home Based Business Scams?

I have to admit: I used to read them all, get really excited, go through the sign-up process and marvel at all the free bonuses.

It's a bit like having competition fever when you buy the groceries at the supermarket just because they have a competition going. Or you buy something you don't really need because they are offering a free gift.

Or the lottery... if only... yes, still dreaming about that one!

But then I remembered what was really valuable to me and started reassessing the offers with a more level head.

HERE ARE SOME IMPORTANT THINGS I HAVE REALIZED:

  • It never happens in a day. It took all of the Gurus years of making mistakes and learning their unique skills.

  • Every single one of the successful people treated their work as a serious business and spent many hours working on it. Usually more than 40 hours a week, easily up to 80.

  • They did start one day with no experience and no past successes.

ARE THEY REALLY TRYING TO DECEIVE?

When they sell the message - "It is all so easy.", I often wonder:

  • Have they forgotten all the effort they put in?

  • Do they just want to encourage others to try and give it a go?

  • Are they deliberately misleading people to earn money themselves?
  • OR

  • Do they seriously believe that it can be done that simply, now that they have written down their formula of success?

It might be a mixture of all of that. And maybe it is just human nature that we forget the toil when we enjoy the spoil.

Surely they do not want to produce home based business scams, even though that is how it can easily be perceived.

    So What Is My Point?

  • You can reach your goal, but not in a day. It needs a lot of patience and persistence.

  • Mistakes are part of the journey. They teach us wisdom, far more valuable than anything learned from books.

  • A first step is necessary to make a start. For that it is not necessary to have an exact plan of how to get to where you want to be. But with a mental picture or vision of what it is like where you want to be, your feelings will tell you along the way whether you are on track. It is good to trust in them.

So when you see the next ad for earning a heap of money, check whether the service or product truly excites you.

If it is only the money, it will probably turn into one of many home based business scams for you. If it is the product or service, then use the knowledge of someone who has walked the journey. It certainly speeds things up - even though you have to do your own walking.
